By 2019, Wyatt again revamped his gimmick. He became a much darker version of himself. I would liken it to something you’d see in a horror film. His music was different & equally as eerie. He wore a mask & started using the mandible claw, Mick Foley’s famous finisher. Vignettes also showed a person who battled with split personalities as well. He sometimes appeared as himself. This troubled yet happy person threatens opposition with an evil side hence The Fiend. His rivalries were opposite Seth Rollins, Daniel Bryan ( Brian Danielson) & again Randy Orton, & fellow Wyatt Family member Braun Strowman at that time.
