One of the more hyped matches for the SummerSlam card this year is Bianca Belair vs Sasha Banks. Banks returned for this WrestleMania rematch, however it seems the bout may be off the cards.

Belair and Banks are both two of the company’s biggest stars but reports have stated they may not be able to appear likely causing concern for those in WWE.

According to a report from PW Insider, Sasha Banks is not at SmackDown tonight. The word going around is that the SmackDown Women’s Title match might not be happening on Saturday.

Sasha Banks is not at today’s WWE Friday Night Smackdown taping in Phoenix, Arizona and the word making the rounds is she may have been pulled from tomorrow’s Summerslam PPV.

Belair and Banks have both missed 2 live events leading to the match which seems to throw any plans into disarray. Furthermore, their SmackDown placement was labeled as “unforeseen circumstances”.

Their original WrestleMania match main evented the first night of the biggest show of the year so the chance of missing out on a huge money-making SummerSlam rematch seems a huge issue.

This absence of SummerSlam is not for definite but we may have to see some alterations to the match line-up for “The Biggest Party Of The Summer”.

Everyone here at WrestleBuddy wishes both the best and hope they can return to action as soon as possible.
