Is CM Punk close to WWE Return?

CM Punk is one of those names that we still here in WWE Universe chants. He is the best in the world. Punk walked out from WWE back in 2014 in a very bad terms. But, still fans are craving for his return. He made a comeback in WWE as a panelist in a FOX show WWE Backstage. Unfortunately, show got cancelled earlier this year due to poor ratings.
Last night, Punk appeared in a episode of Watch Along with Booker T, Renee Young, Bret Hart & Finn Balor which aired on FS1 where they watched WWE SummerSlam 1992.
During the episode, the topic of RAW Underground came up and Punk shared his thoughts on the same.
The idea that Shane McMahon and all these people would be in the Performance Center for the whole three hours and they cut into what they’re doing in various segments is pretty cool. Three hours of no holds barred fights and strippers, that’s all I want to see.

Booker T replied on Punk’s thoughts and ask him if he would like to appear on RAW Underground:
Booker: As soon as I saw the preview – a shoot-fighting concept and all, bringing the noise – the first person I thought of was CM Punk. I know the money has to be right, but maybe this thing will lure Punk back to WWE

Punk MMA career was not too impressive, he lost both of his fights and he is yet to win a fight in MMA. It’ll be very interesting to see if Punk will appear on RAW Underground.
Dave Meltzer from WON, was then asked about whether Punk will return in WWE again. He said that with Vince McMahon, there was always a chance. Vince has been known to put business above everything else and a possible return for CM Punk could see the same:
There is nothing irreparable when it comes to wrestling and when it comes to Vince, especially now. The more things go down, the more something like that becomes enticing. But then it’s also up to Punk and does he wanna wrestle? I know that Vince recently, as in a couple of months ago, was pretty adamant in that no, he wouldn’t bring him back. But he always changes his mind when it comes to things and as business gets worse, you’re looking for answers. There are no easy answers so you go to the hard ones and that’s a shot in the dark. How many times can they go back to Bill Goldberg? You know what I’m saying?

CM Punk return to WWE is always a hot topic for pro wrestling fans. However, we are able to see Punk is showing interest to WWE return.
