AEW has been on a signing spree for the past few months and they are signing almost every released WWE star to their company. AEW has already signed some huge names like CM Punk, Bryan Danielson, Adam Cole, Malakai Black, Andrade and many more. Now, another top WWE star contract is set to expire in few months and already there are several tease that most likely he is going to be ‘ALL ELITE’ very soon.
According to Pat Laprade, in a article translated from French, he was able to confirm that Kevin Owens’ contract is running out in January 2022. Owens exclusively told Laprade about his five-year deal in 2018, but now KO’s deal is up on January 31st, 2022.
Even Owens discussed his contract status during this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW and now AEW Stars, The Young Bucks, are teasing Owens joining AEW. They are famous for creating a stir on social media by changing their bio on an almost weekly basis. This time they once again changed their bio and it appears it’s just some light character work for Being the Elite. The new statement is a directive to Brandon Cutler to pick up their DoorDash order.

Kevin Owens is a real-life close friend of Adam Cole who is a part of The Elite in AEW and Owens, Cole and Bucks once had a stable in Ring of Honor called ‘Mt. Rushmore’. So, it’ll be quite interesting to see if Owens will jump ship to AEW sooner than later. We just have to wait and see what Owens will decide.
