Kevin Owens got people talking earlier today with a tweet that he posted and then quickly deleted.

Those numbers are the coordinates of Mount Rushmore which coincidentally just so happens to be the name of a stable that himself, Adam Cole and the Young Bucks were a part of in Ring of Honor.

Kevin Owens said this in 2018:

“Hopefully I do not see why I will not finish my career with WWE. I just recently signed a new five-year contract with them. I do not intend to go anywhere when my contract ends. If the WWE wants to continue, if I want to continue and my family is ready for me to continue, I do not see why it would not happen.”

But according to Fightful, that contract might not be accurate. It is reported that he could be gone sooner, much sooner.

“We’ve learned from a WWE official that WWE restructured several contracts ahead of the pandemic, and for whatever reason, Kevin Owens’ deal was changed to expire in January 2022. We were not told of any additional terms of the deal or specifically why it was shortened. We’ll work to find out if any other deals were adjusted.”

The bad news keeps coming for fans of WWE. Only time will tell if Kevin Owens will re-sign with the company he’s been with for years. But would it really be surprising if we saw him walk?

  1. Owens is getting wasted away. If he leaves, of his own accord preferably or if more “Budget Cuts” arise… AEW, ROH, IMPACT Wrestling, he’s spoilt for choice to repackage himself & get back that in ring magic that’s been sucked dry since the end of Roman Reigns vs Kevin Owens or Jericho & Owens’ partnership at latest (although both weren’t overly impressed with how long that was drawn out & how much it held KO back).
