Director James Gunn teases about John Cena’s character in the Suicide Squad reboot which is slated to release next year.

Cena was confirmed as a part of The Suicide Squad cast last year. But we already know that Margot Robbie, Viola Davis and Joel Kinnaman will reprise their roles from the first Suicide Squad movie.

But fans doesn’t stop speculating that what John Cena’s character will play. One fan posted the list of DC characters that former WWE champion could play.

After floating the ideas of Cena’s playing Bane, Deathstroke, Solomon Grundy, Copperhead and Black Spider, fans got a response from the director of the movie himself.

Alongside Cena, Idris Elba, Peter Capaldi, Taika Waititi, Nathan Fillion, Michael Rooker and Pete Davidson have all also joined the DC film.

Earlier this year, Gunn said it was ‘likely’ to get the first look of some footage from the movie at some point this year, and that chance may just come in the form of DC’s upcoming Fandome event, which is due to take place in August.
