Keith Lee becomes the NEW NXT Champion and retained his NXT North American Championship by beating Adam Cole on the second night of NXT’s Great American Bash.
Lee had a hard fought match with Cole with several nearfalls. Things ended when Lee hit a spirit bomb on Cole followed up with Big Bang Catastrophe for the win. After the match, karrion Kross was shown backstage laughing while Lee was celebrating in the ring.
