Kenny Omega was teasing a heel turn from past several weeks. Onega lost his tag team titles along with his partner Hangman Page against FTR few weeks ago. He was teasing a character change & bringing his Cleaner gimmick back in AEW. Finally, wait is over & Kenny Omega returns as a Cleaner with new entrance this week on AEW Dynamite.

Kenny Omega was set to face Joey Janela in the first match of the #1 Contender’s touranament. But, Janela was replaced by his partner Sonny Kiss at the last moment as Janela tested positive for COVID-19.

Omega returns in action for the first time after losing his tag titles against FTR. But, this time he was back with a new theme music & entrance & it’s none other than ‘The Cleaner’ character, which was quite famous during his NJPW run. He literally destroyed Sonny Kiss & wins the match within a minute after hitting the running knee followed with Onen Winged Angel.

Fans were craving to see Omega back in his Cleaner gimmick & now he is back with a bang.
