Major WWE Superstar Possibly Taking Time Off?

With The Fiend character now gone, Alexa Bliss has been carrying on with the gimmick bestowed upon her from an angle involving her and Bray Wyatt.
Alexa has done a fantastic job with the gimmick and has made the gimmick profitable, especially with the Lilly doll.
After bouncing around the card for awhile, we saw her finally take the next step and finally challenge for the WWE Women’s Title at Extreme Rules, where she faced Charlotte Flair.
In what was a short but great program that lead to the match, it seemingly came to an end after Charlotte defeated Bliss. After the match, Flair ripped Lilly to shreds before leaving. Alexa was very distraught as she tried to piece Lilly back together, screaming in pain from her loss.
Where does Alexa go from here? Well it’s being reported by Wrestling Inc. that Alexa will be taking months off from television. The exact reason at this time is unknown.

What could this mean moving forward for Alexa Bliss upon her return? Charlotte made reference of wanting the old Alexa back and it is very possible WWE believes this character has run its course. Only time will truly tell when she does return.
