1. Matt Riddle Released.
Wrestlebuddy has learned from Matt Riddle’s Twitter that he’s no longer with WWE. Riddle went on to thank his fans for their support. ” The Original Bro. ” was a United States Champion, two-time Raw Tag Team Champion with Randy Orton, and NXT Tag Team Title-holder alongside Pete Dunne (Butch). Based on various reports, ” the wrestler reportedly burned through too many chances. “
2. WWE Releases.
The Endeavor Merger uniting WWE & UFC as TKO shook things up corporately. Sadly, numerous wrestlers faced releases. Here are some of the names=Dolph Ziggler, Shelton Benjamin, Mustafa Ali, Dana Brooke, Riddick Moss, Emma, Aliyah, Top Dolla, Rick Boogs, Shanky, Mansoor, Mace, & Commander Azeez- Elias, (Dabba Katto) among other talents including NXT.

3. Vince McMahon might be leaving WWE after the merger.
Additional news surrounding this current merger insists WWE Executive Chairman Vince McMahon might exit WWE.
AXIOS reported concerning regulatory filings tying WWE’s fusion with UFC. TKO registered all of McMahon’s shares for sale, which enables the experienced promoter to avoid a lockup period that corresponds with other TKO stockholders like Endeavor & Silver Lake.
Also, his membership on TKO’s board could expose them to negative publicity/ impact on the financial & operational aspects of their business.
4. Mox & Cole Injured.
PWInsider stated the belief backstage was Jon Moxley did sustain a concussion during the AEW International Title match. Reportedly, this affected the initial finish. Rey Fenix executed a Black Fire Driver where Jon Moxley’s head got driven into the mat. It appeared Moxley called for referee Rick Knox to count the pin. Knox did not count three, even with Moxley not kicking out. Fenix delivers the second Black Fire Driver to win the International Title!
Adam Cole suffered an ankle injury following a jump off the entrance ramp during a run-in in the AEW World Championship bout that saw MJF retaining versus Samoa Joe at the AEW Grand Slam.
5.Impact 1000.
Impact Wrestling recently celebrated its 1000th episode.
The Dudleys (Bully Ray & D-Von) made a historic in-ring return. Former Champions reemerged as Gail Kim, Awesome Kong, Mickie James, Velvet Sky, Angelina Love, Tasha Steelz, Jordynne Grace, Deonna Purrazzo, & and Knockouts World Champion Trinity, among many others showed up.

America’s Most Wanted ( “Wildcat” Chris Harris & “Cowboy” James Storm )came back as well, Josh Alexander defeated Impact World Tag Team Champion Trey Miguel,
Impact World Champion Alex Shelley defends against Josh Alexander at Bound For Glory on Oct. 21st.
