NXT Takeover: Stand & Deliver (Night 1) – 07th April 2021

Kick off Show:

Zoey Stark Vs. Toni Storm

Mickie James is on commentary for this match. After lots of back and forth throughout the match. Storm looks for Storm Zero but Stark counters and gets a small package for the win.

Winner: Zoey Stark

MAIN CARD:

Pete Dunne Vs. KUSHIDA

Dunne kicks Kushida in the leg. Dunne whips Kushida to the ropes but Kushida handsprings and hits a back elbow. Kushida runs the length of the ramp and kicks Dunne in the arm. Dunne rolls back into the ring. As soon as Kushida joins him, .

Kushida dropkicks Dunne’s arm. Kushida whips Dunne into the corner. Dunne tries to go for his patented back flip off the top but Kushida handspring attacks him. Kushida flips Dunne off the top rope into a flying Hoverboard Lock. Dunne manages to get to the bottom rope. Kushida releases the hold, but snaps Dunne’s opposite arm. Kushida puts Dunne in a modified  Rings of Saturn.

Dunne manages to get his leg on the bottom rope. Dunne tries to use the ropes but Kushida dives and drops a knee on Dunne’s arm. Kushida puts Dunne in another submission. Dunne gets his foot on the bottom rope. Kushida catches Kushida’s hand and snaps his fingers again. Dunne stomps on Kushida’s fingers, twice. Dunne hits the Bitter End for the win.
