#5 The Empress of Tomorrow, Asuka | 309 Days
Asuka is a two-time WWE RAW Women’s Champion with a combined reign of 309 Days, with both taking place during the Pandemic era of wrestling.
On 10th May 2021 Asuka would win the Money in the Bank ladder match, beating Carmella, Dana Brooke, Lacey Evans, Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler for the briefcase. The next day on Monday Night RAW, Becky Lynch would reveal that inside the briefcase wasn’t a contract but the WWE RAW Women’s Championship that Lynch had vacated the night before. This would make Asuka a first time WWE RAW Women’s Champion.
By becoming the RAW Women’s Champion, Asuka would also become the second Women’s Grand Slam Champion and the third woman to hold the Triple Crown. Asuka and her fellow Kabuki Warrior Kairi Sane would turn face and begin a feud with Nia Jax, with Asuka retaining her RAW Women’s Championship at Backlash.
Her next challenger would be a formidable opponent, Sasha Banks, who would ‘win’ the WWE RAW Women’s Championship at The Horror Show at Extreme Rules. As this wasn’t an official win, their rematch would take place the following night on Monday Night RAW. The two faced off yet again, only for Asuka to sacrifice the championship, as she did not have Champion’s advantage, in order to save Kairi Sane from a brutal attack from Bayley. This would be the last time we would see Kairi Sane on WWE TV, while Asuka’s first reign would end after just 78 Days.
Their feud would continue all the way to SummerSlam where she would face off against both Bayley and Sasha Banks for their championships. This would show the WWE Universe how tough Asuka is by taking on two matches in the same night. She would lose to Bayley but would defeat Banks, regaining the title and becoming a two-time RAW Women’s Champion on 23rd August 2020.
In her second reign she would hold the WWE RAW Women’s Championship for 231 days, from SummerSlam all the way up to WrestleMania Night 2 on 11th April 2021. But before that she would face off against Zelina Vega at Clash of Champions, retaining her RAW Women’s Championship, and then answering Bayley’s Smackdown Women’s Championship Open-Challenge. Unfortunately, she would yet again be unable to beat Bayley for the title. On 19th October she would retain against Lana before forming a bond with her and starting a feud with Tag-Team Champions Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler. After Lana was injured Asuka teamed up with Charlotte Flair at TLC to win the Women’s Tag -Team Championship making her a double champion. But the reign would be short lived with the two dropping the belts back at the Royal Rumble, Asuka needed to refocus on her RAW Women’s Championship.
In March Asuka would be confronted by a newly debuting Rhea Ripley, who challenged for the RAW Women’s Championship at Night 2 of WrestleMania 37 in the semi-main event. On the 11th April 2021 Rhea Ripley would defeat Asuka ending her 231 day reign.
#4 The Hugger, Bayley | 75 Days

While her happy go lucky hugger, persona was a fan favourite it would be something that would hold her back during her time on Monday Night RAW. Gone where the days of the determined underdog from NXT, she was now presented as a meek childlike figure without the edge we had all grown to love.

Charlotte would hold the championship until 25th July 2016, making her first reign just 113 days, where she would lose it to Sasha Banks. This rivalry would last until December with the two women being the first to main-event a WWE Pay-Per-View. Her second title reign would come quickly enough, beating RAW Women’s Champion, Sasha Banks at SummerSlam on 21st August.
After holding the Championship for 43 days, Sasha Banks would regain the title on 3rd October, by this time the title had been officially renamed the RAW Women’s Championship. Charlotte Flair wouldn’t gain back the RAW Women’s Championship till the Summer of 2021, beating Rhea Ripley for a title on 18th July at Money in the Bank. The next day Nikki ASH would cash in her Money in the Bank briefcase to become RAW Women’s Champion.
Charlotte Flair truly became the Queen of SummerSlam on 21st August 2021 when she beat Rhea Ripley and Nikki ASH in a triple threat match. She would begin her sixth reign as RAW Women’s Champion, defending against Alexa Bliss at Extreme Rules on 26th September before being drafted to SmackDown in the 2021 WWE Draft, where she traded her championship with Becky Lynch ending her reign.

She would make her WrestleMania debut alongside 3 of the 4 horse women of NXT. Despite not winning she would go on to become the first WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion that same year.
It would take Becky Lynch 3 years to win the RAW Women’s Championship, but in that time, she grew her fan base while going from the Irish Lass Kicker to The Man. In the first ever women’s main event at a WrestleMania, Becky Lynch would pin Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey to win both the RAW and Smackdown Women’s Championships. At the time Charlotte Flair was the Smackdown Women’s Champion.
WrestleMania 35 on 8th April 2019 was a historic moment for the women of WWE but what would come next would be a record setting title reign for Becky Lynch. She would simultaneously feud with both Lacy Evans and Charlotte Flair before loosing her Smackdown Women’s title to Flair at the Money in the Bank Pay-Per-View. Retaining the Raw Women’s Championship against Lacy Evans all through the summer would lead into a short feud with Natalya in a submission match at SummerSlam, which she would win.
Her next feud would be with a returning Sasha Banks, who would attempt to dethrone The Man, leading to a Hell in a Cell match on 6th October. After a hard-fought battle Lynch would retain her title and head to Survivor Series to face off against the Smackdown Women’s Champion Bayley and the NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler. Becky and Charlotte would put their differences aside in order to win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships, at TLC they would lose to the Kabuki Warriors, Kairi Sane and Asuka. But this wasn’t the end for Lynch and Asuka, the two would face off for the RAW Women’s Championship at the Royal Rumble with Lynch retaining.
In February Lynch would come face to face with a newly debuting Shayna Baszler, who would go on to win the Elimination Chamber in order to face Lynch at WrestleMania 36. Yet again Lynch was taken to her limit but as always, her determination would allow her to retain her championship. Bhut by May Lynch had stopped participating in in-ring competition and the reason would be revealed on the Raw after the Money in the Bank Pay-Per-View.
Lynch revealed that she had relinquished her Raw Women’s Championship on 10th May 2020, what was in fact inside the Money in the Bank briefcase that Asuka had won, was the title belt. On 11th May 2020 Asuka became the Raw Women’s Champion as Becky Lynch announced that she was pregnant with her and real-life partner, Seth Rollins, first child. It was a beautiful moment for the two women who had feuded over the title and now that Lynch has returned will the two get to face off again?
