This week was RAW’s Legends Night and we got to see so many legends back on WWE television such as Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan and many more. The main event of this week’s RAW was a WWE Title match between Drew McIntyre & Keith Lee.

McIntyre retains his title in an epic battle with Lee but what comes as a huge surprise or we can say a huge letdown, that after the match Goldberg music hits and he came down to the ring to challenge McIntyre for the WWE Championship at Royal Rumble. Like SERIOUSLY???

According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, this match was decided just few days ago because WWE officials feels that there’s nobody in the RAW roster who could face their top champion at Royal Rumble. Goldberg was determined as the top contender for Drew McIntyre’s WWE Title after that. 

This is quite a huge letdown after a classic battle between Lee & McIntyre and once again Vince chose his part timer over his current young talents. Rumors were circulating that Sheamus will interfere and then they’ll have a Triple Threat for the WWE Title but what do you get. Goldberg Vs, Drew McIntyre 🙁
