WWE Backstage went off air last year due to the cost cutting from the FOX network and low ratings as well. This show have some huge moments like the return of CM Punk which nobody expected. WWE Backstage was hosted by Renee Young aka Renee Paquette who left the company as well last summer.

Now, WWE is bringing back the show for Royal Rumble and Renee will be seen again hosting the show. Young contract was expired with WWE but she is still under contract with FOX. WWE On FOX tweeted out a video of Renee Paquette who announce the return of WWE Bakcstage. The special edition of the show will air on the night prior to the Royal Rumble PPV.

FS1 will air the special WWE Backstage episode on on January 30th at 8 PM EST. Paige and WWE Hall of Famer Booker T will also join Young for the show.

We can just hope that they bring CM Punk back as well for the special edition because fans really missed him on that show. Although, whenever Punk appears on the show, the ratings of the show just went up. As of this writing, CM Punk is not yet confirmed for the show.
