WWE’s 10 year deal with Saudi Arabia was paused due to the pandemic, now finally they’re going back to Saudi next month for Crown Jewel 2021. We already witnessed in the past that the match card for this event is always a Mania caliber, but when it comes to deliver most of the times they fall flat on their face like Goldberg squashing Fiend at Crown Jewel 2019. Now, reports are speculating that this year’s event will be huge and some big matches will be booked for the event.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer gave some details about what to expect from the event. We already know that Roman Reigns will be facing Brock Lesnar at the event and most likely we are going to see a second match between Goldberg and Bobby Lashley. The surprising match for this event is the third encounter between Edge & Seth Rollins.

“It looks like Saudi is gonna be Edge & Seth, Bill Goldberg & Lashley, and for sure it’s Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar. So, that’s the deal right now.”

Earlier reports were suggesting that Edge will be out of action for few months as his already wrestled 5 times in 2021 according to his contract but if the speculation by Meltzer is true, then we will again witness a instant classic between Edge and Rollins. Most likely the speculation is true as Edge is already being advertised for the first night of WWE Draft and he sends a message to Rollins that he will be at Smackdown this week.
