Drew McInyre is one of the top babyfaces of RAW roster and he is currently included in the MITB ladder match at the PPV. McIntyre is a two time WWE Champion and he was the one who carried the entire RAW roster on his back during the pandemic. But now he is out of the title picture due to his lost against current WWE Champion Bobby Lashley. Now, reports are suggesting that most likely he will leave RAW sooner than later.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that the current plans for McIntyre not able to challenge for the WWE title is a signal that soon the Scottish Warrior will move to the Smackdown roster and most likely he will be the next challenger for Roman Reigns after SummerSlam.

“I think that stipulation may mean that he goes to SmackDown, because god knows Roman Reigns has no opponents. Who knows if they’re going to do that in the draft?”

Currently, McIntyre is involved in a feud with his former 3MB teammate Jinder Mahal and this rivalry will most likely culminate at SummerSlam. Betting odds are in favor of McIntyre for winning the MITB briefcase, but you never know that WWE is having up on their sleeves. WWE Draft is also set to take place in August, so we just have to wait and watch to see the fate of The Scottish Warrior.
