WWE’s Creative Head Triple H shocked the wrestling world last night when he introduced a NEW World Heavyweight Title for RAW Brand. HHH announces that Universal Championship will be with Reigns and a NEW World Champion will be crowned at WWE Night of Champions on May 28, 2023, in Saudi Arabia. Now, some reports are circulating that WWE might split the Undisputed Tag Titles or introduce a new set of tag titles for RAW Brand.

According to Louis Dangoor from Give Me Sport, two sets of tag titles are the next step. It might start on the day of WWE Draft where the tag champs Owens & Zayn are set to defend their titles against The Usos.

Two sets of tag team titles are the next step, you’d have to think, now that the new World Heavyweight Championship is going to #WWERaw. Perhaps a dusty finish tomorrow on #SmackDown between The Usos and Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens to lead to new belts being introduced?

Rumors are that we will see more New Titles soon. Hearing both brands to get New Tag Titles. Raw titles to be renamed to be – World Tag Titles Smackdown Tag Titles to be renamed to – WWE Tag Titles Womens Titles will also get a name change

One more bit of info it seems the Raw and Smackdown Branding will be gone so titles can switch brands etc and not be stuck to certain brands. Seems the Coloured titles will go. However this bit is unconfirmed.

This is quite interesting as we already have the new world title and now the new sets of tag titles will just increase the value and brand of the titles. During the Ruthless Aggression Era, Tag titles were called World Tag titles for RAW and WWE Tag Titles for Smackdown, so we can assume that we might get the golden era back in WWE in some form.
