Bayley suffered an ACL injury and now she will be out for nine months. This was very unfortunate for Bayley as she was set to face Smackdown Women’s Champion Bianca Belair in an ‘I Quit’ match at WWE’s Money in the Bank PPV. Now, WWE already pulled this match off the card and Belair will defend her title against Carmella on Smackdown next week.

According to Fightful Select, Bayley was training with someone and she heard a pop and she understood that something’s not right. Due to this injury there’ll be several changes of plans for the upcoming talents at Smackdown.

As of Friday afternoon, we heard that her injury may have actually caused plans to change for incoming talent.

Two talents on the Smackdown roster were openly frustrated that the company’s lack of depth left them scrambling to find an appropriate replacement,

WWE already released so many talented stars from the company and now they really have lack of talents in the SD roster. Bayley was the one who was carrying the whole women’s division throughout the pandemic era. Now, it’ll be really interesting to see that what WWE will plan for the women’s division as their top tier talent is out of action due to injury.
