Mauro Ranallo is no longer the voice of WWE NXT. He officially leaves WWE after NXT Takeover: XXX.

According to the report of PW Insider, Ranallo has officially finished up with the company and is not under contract anymore.

Ranallo finished with the company at some point over the last several weeks with one source believing the departure happened shortly after Takeover XXX.  There had been word internally that Ranallo was leaving and/or was done over the last week but details were hard to come by.

Wade Barrett was brought back to WWE as a replacement for Ranallo. Ranallo previously called the WWE’s Cruiserweight Classic and worked on SmackDown prior to moving to NXT. Mauro Ranallo will remain one of the best play-by-play announcers on the industry. He is also still working in boxing and MMA.
