Rey Mysterio’s daughter Aalyah Mysterio gets involved in the Mysterio Vs. Rollins feud. Seth Rollins tells Aalyah that she’s not Rey Mysterio’s daughter this week on Monday Night RAW. Now, this was a shocking twist in this long running storyline which is quite similar to the storyline runs by WWE back in 2005 where Eddie Guerraro wants the custody of Dominik Mysterio.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer discussed the involvement of Aalyah Mysterio in the storyline. He said WWE is trying to set up Aalyah against her family, she will be the one who turns on her family in this storyline.

“They’re trying to do something obviously to set up Aalyah to be the one who turns on the family. This is the start of it, but she’s going to have to carry this, but we’ll see. That’s asking a lot for someone who hasn’t been in the business because her role is gonna be as an actress and not as a wrestler.”

Last week, we saw WWE teased an angle between Murphy & Aalyah Mysterio and this week Rollins recalls that moment on RAW.

Aalyah is 19 years old and she needs to get more comfortable on screen while delivering the promos. We just need to wait and watch what WWE is planning in this long running storyline.

Wrestlebuddy is predicting a match between Seth Rollins & Dominik Mysterio inside Hell in a Cell at HIAC PPV next month, where Aalyah will turn on Mysterio family and join hands with Rollins and Murphy.
