Universal Champion Roman Reigns successfully defended his title against Cesaro in a grueling match at Wrestlemania Bakclash. Now, Cesaro continues his feud with Seth Rollins and Reigns is involved in his complicated family issues between him and Jimmy Uso. WWE teased that Shinsuke Nakamura is the next challenger for Reigns’ title. But, there’s a huge rumor is on the rounds that huge star will face Reigns for the title at this year’s SummerSlam.

On the latest Mat Men Podcast, Andrew Zarian gives a clue that John Cena would be in the main event of WWE SummerSlam 2021. Zarian didn’t say Cena’s name clearly but he gave a massive hint. Later in the podcast, Zarian said that WWE “very soon has plans for John.”

Reports are claiming that John Cena is set to make his long awaited return on July 16th, 2021 when the live crowds are returning to WWE. It will be the best time to start his feud with the Tribal Chief. Cena and Reigns crossed paths earlier and Reigns was the one who who came out victorious in their one and only encounter at No Mercy 2017.
