Roman Reigns is currently having his dream run as champion and is close to crossing 1000 days as WWE Universal Champion of all time. Recently, Reigns defeated Cody Rhodes at Wrestlemania 39 and continued his iconic run as WWE Undisputed Universal Champion. Reigns is close to reaching the 1000 days milestone on May 28, 2023. One report is circulating that Romans might cross a HISTORIC title reign.

Andrew Zarian of the Wrestling Observer recently responded to Jim Valley’s tweet regarding Reigns potentially surpassing Hulk Hogan’s 1,474-day title reign. The Introduction of the New World Heavyweight title is a subtle way to understand that Reigns is not losing the titles anytime soon.

“I have been told numerous times that WWE wants to update its history books and needs longer title reigns.”

We reported a few days back that WWE is planning Reigns vs Rhodes II at Wrestlemania 40 and this report makes it quite certain that Riegns will enter Mania 40 as champion and might defeat Cody one more time.
