Universal Champion Roman Reigns successfully defends his title against Cesaro at Wrestlemania Backlash PPV last month. Now, WWE is holding HIAC PPV on 20th June, 2021. It’s the first time that we will witness this PPV in June, usually HIAC takes place in October. WWE already announced that WWE Championship is going to take place inside this demonic structure, but still Reigns doesn’t have a challenger yet for the pay-per-view. Now, reports possibly revealed the challenger name for our Tribal Chief.

According to Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline, the current plan is Roman Reigns to defend the title against Rey Mysterio. WWE already planted seeds for this feud this past week on Smackdown, when Reigns brutally attacked Dominik Mysterio during their tag title defense against The Usos.

Fans were expected to see Jimmy Uso to face Reigns inside the cell as Jey Uso faced him inside HIAC last year and this will be the perfect for this head of the table storyline, but WWE have other plans for Reigns. Meltzer also noted that Cena will made his return on July and challenge Reigns for the title at SummerSlam.
