WWE has been changing a ton of things due to COVID-19 pandemic. WWE house shows have been stopped and they’re not interested to bring it back.
According to the report from Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE told their Superstars that they’re not bringing back the old touring system even after the country will bounce back with coronavirus. WWE cancelled their house shows & live events indefinitely.
There is talent in WWE that has been told in recent contract negotiations that the old way of touring is not coming back, even if and when the country bounces back from COVID.
WWE did several cost cuttings this year & earned a huge amount of profit in every quarter. Recently, they’ve fired who are those responsible for selling and coordinating merchandise, along with other responsibilities at live events.
They have saved a lot of money & understood the cost saving, if they stop touring throughout the year. It is actually good for the superstars too, now they don’t have to run on the roads 300 days a year.
