WWE Champion Bobby Lashley successfully defended his title against Drew McIntyre in a grueling HIAC match last month at Hell in a Cell PPV. Currently, Lashley is feuding with Kofi Kingston and he is set to defend his title against Kingston at Money in the Bank PPV. But, what about SummerSlam? Who will challenge The Almighty at the biggest party of the summer.

According to Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE is planning to bring back Goldberg to face The Almighty Bobby Lashley for the title at this year’s SummerSlam. It’s quite clear that Kofi Kingston Vs Lashley is just a filler feud and then Lashley will face some top name from the company at the biggest party of the summer.

There were rumors for Bobby Lashley Vs. Brock Lesnar to take place, but it is possible that WWE wants to save that match for a future, since the main event of SummerSlam 2021 will be Roman Reigns vs. John Cena, so Lashley & Goldberg match will be the co-main event of the night.

It’ll be quite interesting to see Lashley facing Goldberg, as Goldberg had a long history with Brock Lesnar and most likely Lashley will retain if the match will happen, then maybe WWE will start their huge plan for the feud between Lesnar & Lashley. Because, we all are witnessing that Lashley and MVP are taking shots at Brock Lesnar every now and then, so we just have to wait and watch.
