WWE SummerSlam is set to take place on August 21st, 2021 and finally it will be in front of the live crowd. WWE is making it every way possible to make the match card similar to Wrestlemania caliber. WWE is already planning a huge main event for this year’s SummerSlam which is Roman Reigns Vs. John Cena, but now reports are suggesting that they’re also planning a huge dream match for the event.

According to WrestleVotes, WWE is planning to have Edge Vs. Seth Rollins for SummerSlam. Previous reports suggested that Edge is set to make his return as a babyface and Rollins is currently one of the best heels in Smackdown. This will be a perfect dream match for fans.

Along w/ Roman Reigns vs John Cena for SummerSlam, WWE is planning on stacking the SmackDown side with another major matchup. Source says idea as of now is for a Seth Rollins vs Edge first time ever match.

If we remember, Edge and Rollins have a history together, when Rollins was heel and a part of team Authority back in 2014. Rollins forced Cena to bring back Authority by threating to break Edge’s neck on an episode of RAW. If WWE will use this as a part of backstory, then it’ll be the cherry on the top. Now, we just have to wait and see how WWE will book this match for the biggest party of the summer.
