WWE started NXT on USA Network on Wednesday nights to compete with All Elite Wrestling show AEW Dynamite. However, this planned move by WWE was not that much successful as they expected. Now, they’re planning to move NXT programming to a new night.
According to the report by Wrestlevotes, WWE is discussing to move NXT to Tuesday nights. The main reason that we are seeing the Super Tuesday edition of NXT is because they want to see the response on viewership.
Over the past month or so, discussions have transpired regarding NXT moving off Wednesday nights. No decision imminent, however, talks are ongoing. The numbers over the next 2 weeks might have some impact on this decision.
AEW Dynamite defeated WWE NXT almost every week. Sometimes, NXT pulls off some great numbers in viewership and beat AEW but in the most cases NXT got beaten. AEW has been dominating NXT in the 18-49 demographics from almost a year.
But, if NXT will move to Tuesday nights, it’ll go head to head with IMPACT Wrestling on AXS TV. Let us know your thoughts, if you want to see NXT against IMPACT Wrestling or you still want to enjoy the Wednesday Night Wars.
