WWE is running their weekly shows & PPVs by taping multiple weeks of programming on one night due to COVID-19 pandemic. But, they are planning to go live before SummerSlam.

According to the reports of PW Insider, WWE planning to begin their live programming by 21st August 2020 which will be the episode of WWE Smackdown before SummerSlam and Monday Night RAW post SummerSlam will be live too on USA Network.

Reports suggests that WWE will tape two episodes of NXT on 12th August which will air on 12th August & 19th August 2020. As of now, there’s no news on NXT going live.

Live television is always preferred choice because you never know what can happen on live shows. WWE is trying out live television to see if it can help to boost the ratings.
