Andrade has not been seen on WWE Television since last summer. Recently, reports revealed that Charlotte Flair pitched a storyline to WWE, but it was rejected. Now, reports revealed that Andrade requested WWE release.

Andrade has removed all WWE references from his social media. This is always an sign that the Superstar in question isn’t happy with WWE.

According to WrestlingINC, Andrade requested his release at WWE RAW tapings this past Monday.

According to Fightful Select, WWE is not quite interested to release Andrade. Paul Heyman was on his side, but his removal from creative power meant that Andrade was benched.

They didn’t expect Andrade’s release to be immediately granted, and said the writing was on the wall about his future when Paul Heyman was removed from power and Andrade’s push quickly subsided.

We haven’t seen Andrade since an October 2020 loss to Angel Garza on RAW. Ringside News reported that Andrade is not stay longer in the company and it was noted that “he’s too proud, he’s too good, they’re benching him during his prime.”

“He was f*cked over when Bischoff and Bruce were running Smackdown. Heyman was going all the way with him.”

Andrade was then suspended for 30 days for a violation of the company’s Wellness Policy and “Vince never stopped wanting him buried after that.”
