Decay Chapter 2: Tag Team Glory
With Beer Money already 2-0 over Decay, earning a title shot was not apart of Rosemary’s plans for Decay.
After taking Gail Kim hostage, subjecting her & Beer Money to torture throughout the night, Beer Money called Decay back out drew closer to the end & their pleas for Gail Kim’s safety were met, but Decay got their tag team title match & We were introduced to the Valley of Shadows the following week.
Decay would emerge victorious. Bobby Roode taking the pin fall & Beer Money would be disbanded yet again. The reign of Decay had begun. Rosemary would transition Abyss into his most Beautiful form & grant Crazzy Steve the ability of speech, changing the landscape of Decay into a much darker & crazy route.
On the May 10th, Decay successfully retained their titles against Jeff Hardy and James Storm. On the May 31st, Decay were defeated by Drew Galloway in a handicap match after trying to force him to join their cause. Decay would retain their titles against The BroMans at Slammiversary 2016 & again on an Impact Gold Rush special, also featuring Grado & Mahabali Shera as a team alongside The Tribunal in a four-way match to round up a dominating June for Decay with Rosemary getting more involved in the ring with poison mist, cheap shots or introducing weapons.
Decay’s rivalry against the BroMans wasn’t all easy wins though. On July 5th they were defeated by The BroMans & Raquel to give this current rivalry a huge send off as they successfully retained their titles against The BroMans in a Monster’s Ball match on the July 28th.
Next in line for Decay was a very interesting end to an almost dividing side story in which Rosemary started a relationship with Bram whilst Decay were engaged with the BroMans, attempting to court him into joining The Decay at times assisting Bram beat Abyss to help him (apparently) move onto challenging for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship, leaving fans to speculate a Face Turn from Rosemary or Decay breaking apart completely as tension between Abyss & Rosemary grew.
Eventually, Rosemary would turn on Bram by having Crazzy Steve & Abyss attack then abduct Bram, writing him off of Impact until his return as a part of the DCC with James Storm & Eddie Kingston in 2017.
