During last night episode of NXT, a mysterious promo airs which was shoot in a night vision camera and someone was smashing a case with NXT title belts in it. Then, a robotic voice can be heard saying:

“I’m not sure what happened. I helped create something out of my own blood. Years and years of dedication — only to be taken over by paper champions. These NXT championships have been in isolation for far too long. Now I’ve come back to take what is mine.”

It’s quite clear that some former NXT champion is returning back to claim his championship. But who it could be?

During Wrestling Observer Radio, it was theorized that this promo could be the return of Bo Dallas. Bo Dallas holds the record of youngest NXT champion of all time and he is the fourth longest reigning NXT champion in history with 280 days.

We have to wait and see what NXT is planning for Takeover on October 4th, 2020. But, it’ll be very interesting to see if Bo Dallas will reinvent himself and make his return to the black and gold brand.
