(Shocking) Daniel Bryan reveals he didn’t wanted to be in the main event of Wrestlemania 37

Daniel Bryan is one of the top faces in WWE and one of the best in-ring worker in the history of WWE. Daniel Bryan challenged Universal Champion Roman Reigns for the title along with WWE Hall of Famer Edge in a Triple Threat match in the main event of Wrestlemania 37. But, Bryan did a shocking revelation that he didn’t wanted to be a part of the blockbuster main event.
While speaking to BT Sport, Bryan revealed that he didn’t had any intentions of being a part of the main event of Wrestlemania as he was happy to see Edge’s comeback story. Bryan believed that he shouldn’t have been in the match at all.
“I kept trying to get out of it too. You know, this is a heck of a story, ten years to do the day that he was forced to retire.’ It was shortly after Elimination Chamber, in the build to the singles match I had with Roman at Fastlane, it was like, ‘this is going to be a stick Daniel Bryan in here thing.’ Not to say that I didn’t want to be part of it, I just thought it would be such a strong main event, just the two of them. WrestleMania 30, it felt like with the way the crowd was reacting with Batista and Randy, they kind of needed me in there.
This one didn’t feel like it needed me. It’s all water under the bridge now, but maybe that was in the back of my mind, ‘hey, I’m not sure I should be in this match,’ is why I had this weird reaction to actually being out there.”

Daniel Bryan is one of the main creative minds behind the curtain at Smackdown and Edge is also a part of the creative team. As Bryan explained the reason to not to be a part of the triple threat, but still WWE Universe got a stellar match in the main event of Wrestlemania 37. Bryan contract is set to expire soon and reports to be believed he already started trying to wrestle outside of WWE.
