1. The Rock Returns/ Rock Vs. Roman at Wrestlemania 40.

WWE SmackDown brought star power as The Rock made his anticipated return to a tremendous reaction when “The Most Electrifying Man in Entertainment“ emerged in Denver on Friday, Sep. 15. After rampant speculation, Rock came back home. Austin Theory interrupted a past rival, who also returned in Pat McAfee, during the opening segment. Rock laid a SmackDown on Theory.

Before that, there was breaking news to share per (The Pat McAfee Show). The Rock guested on his program & teased a match opposite Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns via WrestleMania 40 in Philadelphia.
Here’s the quote: ( reworded) ” We got close, but we couldn’t figure out what that thing was, so we decided to put our pencils down, and we agreed, ‘Hey listen, there’s a merger coming up, WrestleMania is coming up in Philly, that’ll happen.’ I’m saying that is potential & I’m open. ”
Rock versus Roman Reigns might happen.
2. UFC/WWE Merger COMPLETED

Wrestling spectators saw Vince McMahon’s 70-year majority ownership conclude as Endeavor closed on their purchase that combined UFC & WWE by launching TKO on Tuesday, Sep. 12, 2023. The new entity began trading on the famed New York Stock Exchange. Endeavor owns 51 percent. WWE shareholders own 49 percent. Vince McMahon acts as executive chairman. WWE President- Nick Khan. Dana White goes from President of UFC to CEO. Endavor’s Ari Emanuel will be TKO’s CEO, with Mark Shapiro being President & chief operating officer.
What a surreal moment, indeed.
3. Becky Lynch Wins NXT Women’s Title

WWE star Becky Lynch created additional history this week after defeating Tiffany Stratton to capture the NXT Women’s Championship on this week’s edition of NXT by ending Stratton’s 100-day reign with Lynch becoming a Grand Slam Champion & Bayley first won that honor in 2019. Becky is a six-time WWE Women’s World Champion & Women’s Tag Team Champion with Lita. She’s known as ‘The Man,’ ” Big Time Becks, Becky Two Belts, & currently ‘ The Grand Slam Man!!!

4. Jade Cargill to WWE

Former TBS Women’s Champion & current AEW star Jade Cargill could be WWE-bound soon.
Based on reports, Cargill will sign with WWE. She began her AEW career in 2020. They pushed the impressive-looking athlete by having Cargill as TBS Champion & undefeated until Kris Statlander defeated her. Video Footage from Twitter shows Statlander retaining the TBS title on Rampage. Afterward, both ladies embraced, meaning her goodbye. Cargill’s current AEW deal ends this week.

Xero News also reports that with Cargill joining WWE. She’ll debut on the main roster as the ” Final Boss” of the Women’s division. Triple H thinks of Jade as a top star.
5. Roman Reigns Vs. AJ Styles at WWE Crown Jewel 2023.

BWE reported about WWE planning an epic matchup for WWE Crown Jewel 2023.
“The AJ Styles/ Bloodline storyline continues at the Saudi show in early November. ” Remember, Reigns & Styles have faced each other in the past. The Bloodline is beginning to target ” The Phenomenal One ” on Friday Night SmackDown. It commenced last week when Paul Heyman provoked Styles. Jimmy Uso saved ‘The Wise Man.’ AJ defeated Jimmy, and Judgement Day attacked Styles & Solo Sikoa, spiking him and adding context to the upcoming rivalry! Jimmy Uso cost Styles his match versus Finn Balor on last night’s SmackDown.
