Bret Hart makes his highly anticipated return to WWE Raw this Monday!!! The company shared the incredible breaking news via social media days before having reporter Jackie Redmond announce that a Hall of Famer will be appearing on the popular show. Raw emanates from “ The Hitman’s “ Hometown of Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

It’s very memorable whenever Hart appears on WWE TV. The famed wrestler possessed a love-hate relationship with the previous chairman, Vince McMahon & dates back to Montreal. Fans witnessed Hart controversially lose the WWF World Title. There are two perspectives for every story. Bret was reportedly looking to go to work for the competitor WCW (World Championship Wrestling) during the height of professional wrestling’s Monday Night Wars!!! Vince felt that if Bret won at Survivor Series 1997. He would show up on WCW Nitro with the WWF Championship!!! Things became intensely personal between Bret & Vince. For many years, Bret represented WWE as their franchise star. The Excellence of Execution did sign & appear for WCW. However, it was never the same in WWE. Bret grew frustrated with Eric Bischoff’s creative direction & career-threatening injury that was accidental by Bill Goldberg. Bret dealt with his brother Owen’s untimely tragic death. All these emotional factors tied into Bret’s unhappiness with a profession that he adored. The WWE bought WCW when Turner sold it in 2001.

In 2004, WWE & Hart collaborated on a special DVD titled Bret “ The Hitman “ Hart: The Best There Is, The Best There Was, The Best There Ever Will Be. Long-time rival Stone Stone Cold Steve Austin inducted Hart into the 2006 Hall of Fame (April 1st, 2006).

Paul Levesque ( Triple H), WWE’s Chief Content Officer, has honored the past legends by welcoming them back to WWE.

Like Jesse “ The Body “ Ventura, recently.

Many iconic wrestlers became prohibited by the previous administration because of personal issues. Vince McMahon was selective at times on who could return or do business. Levesque is changing those rules under new ownership in TKO. Now, without McMahon. There are additional possibilities for icons to return.

Vince McMahon did invite Bret Hart back. The return was underwhelming & some good moments from it. What’s unique about Bret & his relationship with WWE is his criticism of modern wrestling & Triple H as an executive. Yet, Levesque manages to find a way & indicates a new chapter for Hart & WWE. It’s fascinating how legends fit into plans with new management.

Let’s discuss Bret Hart’s Top Ten memorable appearances on WWE Raw.

Bret Hart frequently endeared himself to all his fans except for an episode of Raw (March 27th, 1997). WWE’s celebrated hero believed admirers had betrayed him. Even in victory, Hart began losing favoritism amongst audiences regarding this new protagonist, Stone Cold Steve Austin. What is brilliant about such a move? The crowd who helped make Bret a star also turned him into one impressive evil-doer following WrestleMania 13’ ‘s No DQ submission match, where Austin refused to give up. Hart applied his signature, Sharpshooter, but Austin never gave up.

Hart blamed American fans for why he altered his persona. Hart smartly apologized to the international devotees, with examples like Germany, Great Britain, & across Europe. Hart included Japan, the Far East, South Africa, The Middle East, & those residing in his home country of Canada. He isn’t sorry for his actions concerning the American fan base. From my perspective, this was a defining moment for Bret Hart. We saw him evolve as a personality. The Hitman grew frustrated with people cheering on Shawn Michaels & that close-up of Vince McMahon’s face accented the Chairman’s nervousness.
