The Number 02 spot belongs to the SmackDown Money in the Bank ladder match at Money in the Bank 2011 couldn’t have been any more wide open. Former Corre/Nexus members Wade Barrett, Justin Gabriel, and Heath Slater participated. Kane, Sin Cara, Daniel Bryan, Cody Rhodes, and Sheamus sensed an opportunity to prevail.

Sin Cara put on an outstanding performance until Sheamus delivered a jaw-dropping powerbomb onto a ladder which spelled the end of his dream with him being stretchered to the back. Ultimately, Bryan won the briefcase and shot up to the main event scene since then.
