06. Randy Orton Vs. Edge – Vengeance 2004

The number 06 spot belongs to one of the best mid-card matches in the year 2004, when mid-card title actually matters in WWE. Edge returned from the injury and vows to take out Evolution with the help of his partners Jericho & Benoit. Edge challenges Orton for the IC Title at Vengeance.

The match started off with Edge getting the advantage. Orton attempted an RKO but Edge countered by pushing Orton into the ropes and attempted a Spear but Orton avoided the move. Orton attempted an RKO but Edge countered into a backslide pin and executed a spear to win the title. After this match, it was crystal clear that these two performers have great chemistry together.
