09. WWE Backlash 2009

The Number 09 spot belongs to WWE Backlash 2009. This entire PPV was remembered just because of it’s stellar main event. John Cena and Edge faced each other for the last time ever in a Last man Standing match and Cena’s title was on the line. The ending – which saw Big Show interfere and chokeslam Cena into a spotlight – divides opinion of the fans. But, the chemistry between Cena and Edge is just a treat to watch. It was one of the best Last man Standing matches of all time.

There were two huge matches in the card, one was Legacy vs. Triple, Batista and Shane McMahon and Jeff Hardy Vs. Matt Hardy in an ‘I Quit’ match. But both the match didn’t deliver as per fans hope and it was just a forgettable affair.

Chris Jericho beats Ricky ‘The Dragon’ Steamboat in a decent match, this match shows the legend never dies and they’re always a treat to watch.
