08. WWE Backlash 2007

This maybe garner a bit of heat for me because this PPV had one of the best matches in the Backlash history. Yes!! It was the main event between John Cena, Shawn Michaels, Edge and Randy Orton, where Cena retained his title accidentally. This match is still a treat to watch.

Another main event was the rematch between The Undertaker and Batista for the World Heavyweight Title. This was the longest match of the PPV and one remembers this match if both contestants will not crash off the stage. This match was ended in a draw as both men were not able to answer the 10 count.

How we can forget the match, where Vince McMahon once again crown himself as World Champion. Yes! I’m talking about the infamous match between Bobby Lashley and The McMahons and Umaga in a 3 on 1 Handicap match, where Vince became the ECW Champion. This match garnered a lot of backlash from the fans. Rest of the card if we don’t discuss, it’ll be better because it was just horrible.
