02. WWE Backlash 2000

Once again Attitude Era is back in the list. Backlash 2000 is one of the most impressive pay-per-view of all time. The main event itself is a mixture of a classic match with a huge return. The entire PPV was so satisfactory to watch.

The main event was between The Rock and Triple H for the WWF Title. Lot of interference by the McMahons and their Stooges (Pat Patterson & Briscoe). Then, the glass shattering music hits and the reaction of the crowd just blows the roof off the MCI Center. Stone Cold Steve Austin made his long awaited return and helps The Rock to win the title.

The undercard was as stellar as the main event. Scotty 2 Hotty battles with Dean Malenko in one of the best opening matches of the year 2000. Eddie Guerrero battles with Essa Rios and create the base for luchadores in WWE. Chris Jericho battles with Chris benoit, these two wrestlers had such a great chemistry that they never had a bad match. Only one thing comes in your mind when you think about Backlash 2000 – SPECTACULAR!!!
