13. Alex Wright

Alex Wright aka ‘Das Wunderkid’ is one of the most entertaining mid card performers of mid 90s in WCW. He wrestled in Germany and Japan before signing with WCW. Kids from the early 90s remembers him as funny and light hearted wrestlers and many of us mimicked his dance moves for sure.

Wright’s gimmick was not based on any particular musician, it was just based on culture surrounding techno and house music. Wright won the Rookie of the year award in 1995 and he became one time Cruiserweight Champion and Tag Team Champion with Disco Inferno.
