This is when the term underrated gets skewed. He has fantastically recognizable skills in the ring, on the mic, and a unique look. At one point Vince was going to have him featured on the main roster but that never happened. Thank god for that. Look at the body of work with NXT 2.0 alone with Bron Breakker.
Creating a credible force for the future. His matches in the old black and yellow were award worthy with Gargano and against Gargano. That finale from several years ago on Mania weekend in an unsanctioned match was one of the most ruthless examples of how Ciampia will always get people over while being a top 3 asset EVER to NXT. His book is nowhere near written.
