7. Johnny Gargano
#7 spot belongs to one of my favorite wrestler from original NXT. Gargano has been the heart & soul of NXT since it’s inception but he never had a memorable title run unlike his other NXT mates Tomasso Ciampa, Finn Balor & Adam Cole.
Gargano have some memorable feuds & moments during his NXT run but he never became the face of the black & gold brand. He got called up in the main roster with his DIY teammate Tomasso Ciampa but the run was weird and forgettable and as of this writing his contract is also up tomorrow right after NXT WAR Games.
In my opinion, Gargano needs to shine on his own and WWE should focus on him and shouldn’t waste him like other NXT call-ups. Gargano can be called the most underrated wrestler of one of the underrated wrestling promotion.
