WWE going up for Sale dominates news headlines & similar rumblings occurred before now concerning WWE selling to the highest bidder. Who buys WWE? Vince McMahon remains controversial with his entrepreneurial fighting attitude even after overcoming recent alleged scandals. Once things cooled down following last year’s investigation into sexual misconduct from ex-women employees. Vince surprisingly retired from the company he publicly elevated. If pundits thought Vinny Mac would go away, you don’t know McMahon.

The returning executive chairman bided his time & constructed a game plan for a WWE purchase. What creates negativity toward McMahon is the man’s sheer brilliance. Since taking back that exclusive chair. Immediate corporate changes transpired rather timely.

Stephanie McMahon announced her resignation on Tuesday, January 10th. She had written, “ Our Founder, Vince McMahon, has returned as Executive Chair and is leading an exciting process regarding strategic alternatives. “ Strong rumors were formulated that McMahon sold the company to Saudi Arabia’s Private Investment Fund. Recently, sources close to the situation have denied those reports.

Remember 2021 when both enterprises brokered a deal? In the United States, Peacock had exclusive U. S. rights to WWE Network. Its value is $ 1 billion over five years. NBC’s net worth equals $ 35 billion as of January 2023 from TV & radio broadcasts. Listen, WWE might be under new ownership & however, but a present familiarity endures due to eaches’ history with current revenue relating to NBC Universal Networks & streaming platforms.

Talk about pursuing the American dream. They specialize in correlating e-commerce, cloud computing, & digital streaming. What’s most appealing would entail Amazon’s popular streaming opportunities? The company was a modern-day content forerunner concerning watching series & films on an App. Amazon Prime commenced circa February 2, 2005. Think of including merchandising delivery deals. Look at new ways to distribute books for WWE & their documentaries. I’m just brainstorming if Amazon does own WWE. I can visualize Raw following an episode of Reacher or SmackDown before Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan series. Even air reruns in between shows, who knows? Amazon’s net worth-$860 Billion dollars.

4. Saudi Arabia 

WWE was declared to be bought by Saudi Arabian Public Investment Fund (PIF). Reports noted Vince had sold the company. Not so fast there. It manufactures riveting gossip. Sure, wrestling & mainstream media news sites jumped at the chance to reveal that SaudiMania was happening. Seriously, because of the current business relationship between both parties. It proved plausible that an agreement was likely. WWE first entered an arrangement of business in 2018. They would later agree to hold at least two monumental events yearly through 2027 within the country. What a profitable exchange for WWE. Each Saudi show reportedly earns between $50 million & $ 55 Million. Crown Jewel illustrates this point. It emanates live from Riyadh, SA. Maybe WWE goes private? Realistically, WWE gets owed by Disney and presents the Royal Rumble next year with Mickey Mouse & Donald Duck versus Cinderella’s seven dwarfs. Welcome to Disney World! Folks, you can tour Bray Wyatt’s Haunted Mansion instead of riding Big Thunder Mountain and hop aboard Stone Cold Steve Austin’s Stunner rollercoaster. That might be cool. Disney streaming WWE provides magical entertainment. Disney-owned sports content like ESPN. Imagine wrestling on that channel again. AWA received air time during the ’80s. I understand the glaring differences. Things evolve & so do all forms of entertainment. Disney purchasing WWE has a cross-over appeal. Does Vince McMahon desire to be the Walt Disney of professional wrestling & that’s if he decided to stay with any company buying WWE? Disney owns Hulu alongside Comcast’s NBC Universal, which holds minority ownership interestingly. Their impressive streaming offers fresh avenues regarding viewership. Disney has a net worth of around $ 130 billion! 

We assume WWE’s possible exit strategy, or at least Vince’s. A sale gets him there. Here’s another perspective, if it sells, McMahon chooses not to walk away & remains an influential power player under new leadership. He maintains executive clout somehow. Who buys WWE? WB’s guesses on potential buyers. Whatever happens, the co-branding prospects are intriguing. Well, for a few of those selections. New subscribers from these various brands fascinate me.
