With Triple H in charge there is alot of buzz around the wrestling landscape about the return of “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt to the WWE. Most of the issues Bray had last go around was with Vince McMahon micromanaging everything Bray did when it was obvious Bray knew the best way to book his character as the guy was a money making machine. With the rumors comes match possibilities right? I’ve been a wrestling fan for 25 years and everytime there is a rumor like this I always think about who I’d love to see the talent feud with. With Bray being one of my favorites this is no different. These are the top 5 feuds for “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt if he returns to the WWE. Also a happy birthday shout out to my buddy Willie Amerson and the biggest Bray Wyatt fan on this earth, this article is for you buddy.
“Brood” Edge vs The Fiend
This would be a great feud and story. This would give Bray another experienced veteran to work with and it gives him one he has never got to work with before. The promos for this would be worth the price of admission itself. I would love to see Bray return by costing Edge his inevitable match with Finn Balor and kicking that feud off going into Wrestlemania season. Just think of the impact it would have and the buzz it would create. This is a potentially great feud that I hope we get to see.
This one is pretty obvious right? I mean after The Fiend squashed Balor at Summerslam a few years back WWE could easily use that story to set this match up. This is a match that is Wrestlemania worthy as well. The mind games, the promos and the story would all be amazing with these two amazing talents actually having the creative freedom to utilize their characters to the fullest potential. This is a match that has to happen it’s way too damn good not to. Hunter make it happen.
The Fiend vs Roman Reigns
Remember that time WWE created a Pay Per View that was a week after another one just to put the championship on Roman Reigns. In this match Roman didn’t even show up until Braun Strowman and Bray Wyatt beat the hell out of each other and Roman just came down and picked the scraps of Braun and then the story never got visited again? Yeah me too. Roman vs Bray has a ton of unfinished business. Just think of their classic 6 man tag matches with The Wyatt Family vs The Shield. Roman is at a different level now than he was back then and with Bray having creative freedom and having time off to get his body and mind right I bet he is in the best shape of his life and ready to go. This feud has history, two huge stars and two great storytellers. This match would top any card in any company and WWE would be foolish not to revisit this.
The Fiend vs Brock Lesnar
This is my off the wall feud but I bet if booked right everyone would be glad it happened. Brock hasn’t really faced a dark demented character since The Undertaker. Babyface Brock hasn’t faced a dark demented character at all recently. Enter The Fiend. Can you imagine Brock reacting to the “Firefly Fun House” and all the antics and mind games Bray would play with him. You know how The Fiend was in the ring just imagine an F5, Fiend gets right back up, suplex, suplex, suplex, the The Fiend gets right back up. Another F5 and then The Fiend gets right back up. This is a chance to have two talents who possess opposite skill sets cross and it be great and beneficial for both guys. Imagine Bray beating Brock and Brock potentially even showing fear to The Fiend. Gives me goosebumps just thinking about it. Do I think it will happen? I doubt it. Should it happen. Absolutely.
The Fiend/Alexa Bliss vs Karrion Kross/Scarlett or Karrion Kross vs The Fiend
I don’t care which version of this match I get all I know is I want it. Kross has been teasing pretty much ever since he returned to the WWE for a match with Bray and if somehow this happens potentially at a Wrestlemania I will flip my s%#$. These two are among the most talented wrestlers and storytellers in the world and adding Alexa and Scarlett potentially to this would just make it that much better. Just imagine the entrances. I’m serious just imagine them. Alexa and Scarlett are both very good in the ring too and have two great characters. Bliss with The Fiend was money the first time and Scarlett adds so much to Kross just by being there. This feud would be epic and I know I’m using that word but that is truely what I think it would be. This feud to me is the most likely to happen and the fact it keeps being teased just gives me more hope The Fiend is coming back and him and Kross will finally cross paths. Bray did like the tweet when Kross returned to Smackdown too? Are they just teasing us? I hope not because this is a match and feud that I know everyone wants to see.
