Top 50 Greatest Wrestling Heels of all time
34. Brock Lesnar
‘The Beast Incarnate’ has been built as the dominant force that is scarcely overcome since day one. Brock surged his way to the top of the WWE card in so little time that his WWE title win 6 months after arrival (where he became the youngest WWE titleholder at just 25) could have been seen as pushed too far too soon but Lesnar put across his character as such a menacing threat that it felt deserved. Additionally, he was barely ever beaten, making his character when heel even stronger.
His run since 2012 has caused a lot of ‘go away’ heat as fans have become enraged at his habits of turning up, winning a belt and taking a vast amount of time away from the company. He has become a multi-time WWE and Universal champion in his time in the promotion from 2015-2020.
No matter how fans feel, you cannot deny the dynamite run Lesnar had in his first few years and that even now when he does rarely defend his belts, it truly feels like the opponent has a pure fight to win. Lesnar has been the WWE’s final boss for a few years not and it does make the winners feel significantly more legitimate.
