‘The King Of The Indies’, Christopher Daniels has shown that you can become acclaimed for your work even when not known for his time in the WWE. Similar to the last few entries on this list, he has wrestled in the WWE but not to as much success as elsewhere.

Daniels had bad luck in his early runs in the WWF and WCW, making his name via his run in TNA and ROH. Having runs in The Prophecy, S.E.X. and Triple X in this time, he proved his worth through his work on the mic and in-ring. Daniels stood out in this role, being cited as one of the forerunners of the new generation of talent in wrestling to try to establish an alternative to the WWE.

Daniels became a reliable top or mid-card guy, managing to stay a heel for long periods despite how revered he was. During his time as a heel, he most memorably forged an alliance with Frankie Kazarian after Fortune. His work with another underrated heel Kazarian is perhaps what Daniels is most associated with now. ‘The Fallen Angel’ has worked so well as a bad guy throughout his career, he is now adored by many fans, so much so that he may realistically not be able to be hated again.
