Trish Stratus teases a match with Sasha Banks

WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus is retired but she frequently made sporadic appearances. Trish was back in the ring for a match with Charlotte Flair at SummerSlam 2019 where she was on the losing side but still she steals the show. Now, Trish teases a match with ‘The Boss’ Sasha Banks.
Recently, Trish spoke to Post Wrestling, where she revealed that she had unfinished business with Sasha Banks. They both face off at Royal Rumble match and Trish feels that there is something between them.
“I mean, I think Sasha Banks and I might have some unfinished business and I say this with much love and respect. It’s like this moment we had at the Royal Rumble so many years ago; it seems like so many years ago now. It’s just like, people have held onto that moment and I watch it back. It’s undeniable [that] there’s definitely this intangible… this energy between us that — it’s a rare thing sometimes that two superstars get in there and you’re like, ‘Ooouuu, I like this,’ and you know, so I respect her so much as a worker, as a person, as a friend and so yeah, I think as a fan and personally, I think that would be an interesting thing to pursue, possibly at some point. Maybe possibly down the line at some point.”
If WWE will pull off this match, it’ll be treat for WWE Universe. Recently, Sasha Banks spoke to ProSieben MAXX, where she discussed about having a match with Trish but she needs a huge payday for this match.
“That’s hard to remember. But probably being the person that I was back then, I was probably telling myself, ‘I’m not afraid,’ and probably freaking out. Because ever since I was 10 years old, walking down that ramp was my only dream. Now, here I was in 2015, making my WWE debut. It was so incredible. Now every single week, I’m doing the exact same thing. It’s just so awesome.”
“There’s so many new women, so I feel like there are all these matches I can have, but even with a dream match would be Trish Stratus. I feel we can make it happen one day if she wants to, but we have to get paid a lot of money for that one.”
