Wrestling fans who thought the WWE Draft 2022 was occurring this year might want to hold off any excitement or concerns they had.
Emerging rumors began circulating regarding a plausible shake-up with Raw & Smackdown wrestlers, perhaps NXT as reasonably considering a WWE Draft was immanent or, so we anticipated based on current pleasantly.
According to a credible source & wrestling journalist Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, wrestlers received assimilated information from people over the concept.
A stat to mention is, beginning with Friday Night Smackdown’s debut on Fox three years ago & the WWE draft happens yearly in early October.
Sapp previously noted that talent did contemplate the draft commencing after Clash at the Castle. It’s due to some scheduled SmackDown wrestlers being on September’s episodes of Raw via these dates, the 4th & 11th. Certain Raw superstars allegedly were to appear on the September 9th edition of SmackDown.
Paraphrasing, Sapp said that wrestlers expressly we’re not told of a potential draft even though the internal belief that seemed evident.
Last year’s draft transpired on Oct. 1st SmackDown episode & the October 4th Raw episode. Clash at the Castle ensues circa Sept. 3rd inside Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales. Why is this crucial because of the recent draft news surrounding the Draft?
WWE has witnessed creative modifications since Vince McMahon retired back on July 22nd. So much talent has re-signed with the company as it resulted in Triple H taking over that inventive process.
