Former NXT Champion Karrion Kross debuted in NXT and wreak havoc in the black & gold brand. Kross became NXT Champion quite quickly after spending a few months in NXT. He defeated Keith Lee at NXT: Takeover XXX to becomes the champion but he suffered an injury during the match. Kross relinquishes the title at the follow up episode of NXT due to a injury. Since, then he has not been seen on NXT Television.

Few weeks ago, Kross posted some cryptic videos on his Youtube channel, where he is sporting a short cut hair & beard. Usually, Kross is seen bald and clean shaved. He posted the videos in two parts named ‘Lost HIghways’, where he is talking about his return. Scarlett can also be see in the video.

Many people refer to me as the devil, however i consider myself a necessary evil. August 22nd, 2020 I defeated Keith Lee at NXT Takeover 30 with one arm.
It Only took me three months to become NXT Champion, three months to do that. Many people believe that something unfortunate happened to me that day, but in truth something actually happened to you. The Universe decided to extend you some mercy. You have been given time, the most valuable currency in life & it will be very very fascinating to see, what you intend to do with that.
Now you get to prepare for something that you truly we’re not ready to deal with, this universe is behind & I intend to make sure it stays in the right hands, the hands of time, you’ll be seeing me again sooner than you think. TICK TOCK!!!

It’s great to see that Kross is getting some creative control in the company & staying in the character outside the ring too, which is quite a rare thing during these days where everyone is available on social media.
