2. Top AEW Stars contract are expiring soon

AEW is on a roll from the past few months and they’re on a signing spree. They signed huge names like CM Punk, Bryan Danielson, Adam Cole, Malakai Black & Andrade. Recently, reports came out that Scorpio Sky and Britt Baker have signed contract extensions with AEW.

According to Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Meltzer noted that there are some top names in the company whose contract are set to expire by 2022 & 2023. he didn’t specified the name of the wrestlers and referred them as key wrestlers.

“A lot of key deals will be up in 2022 and 2023 and an extension for that long for a talent who is not that young tells you they are pretty confident in committing to a long-term future…”

Now, here are some names whose contracts are up very soon: Young Bucks, “Hangman” Adam Page, Chris Jericho, Kenny Omega & MJF. Most of the names are re-signing the contract with the company for sure except one guy and that’s Maxwell Jacob Freidman. MJF has been teasing from quite sometime that he is pretty interested in going to WWE. So we might see the first jump from AEW to WWE next year.
